As the Chief of Police, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our newly designed website. Our team has put in a tremendous amount of effort to ensure that this platform provides easy access to important information and tools to better serve our community.
The La Verne Police Department is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone. Our agency is comprised of 45 sworn officers, 27 professional staff members, a Reserve Officer force of up to 25, and 26 dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to uphold our mission of protecting and serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and respect.

Temporary Change to Records/Lobby Hours:
Due to critical staffing levels in our Records Bureau, we will be temporarily adjusting our public lobby hours to better support our dedicated staff during this challenging period.
Beginning Monday, May 19th through Thursday, June 19th, lobby hours will shift from 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM to 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM Monday - Thursday.
PLEASE NOTE: We will also be closed to the public on Thursday, May 22nd.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to maintain the accuracy, compliance, and quality of our services during this critical time.
