As the Chief of Police, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our newly designed website. Our team has put in a tremendous amount of effort to ensure that this platform provides easy access to important information and tools to better serve our community.

The La Verne Police Department is dedicated to maintaining a safe and secure environment for everyone. Our agency is comprised of 45 sworn officers, 27 professional staff members, a Reserve Officer force of up to 25, and 26 dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to uphold our mission of protecting and serving our community with integrity, professionalism, and respect.

La Verne, Calif. – On December 8, 2024 at 4:55 PM, La Verne Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle which collided with a pedestrian in the area of Bonita Avenue and Damien Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male pedestrian who had been struck by a vehicle.

La Verne, CA – On October 31, 2023, at 5:19am La Verne Police Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Bonita Avenue and Wheeler Avenue regarding a traffic collision in which a vehicle struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street with their dog.

Press Release Palomares Search for Suspect

La Verne, CA – On October 29, 2023, La Verne Police Officers were dispatched to 1300 block of Palomares Avenue regarding a domestic violence incident that took place at approximately 3:24AM. The suspect, who is known to the victim, had entered the residence without consent, caused injury to the victim, stole the victims cell phone and vehicle, then fled the location.
